Linen Samples

I recently received a couple of linen samples that I ordered BBJ Linen Rentals.

Here is "Purple Classic":

The sample is actually a really dark purple. It is a pretty nice color, although I think a whole table cloth would end up being too purple-y. The advantage is that, since it is standard poly, it is less expensive than fancier linens.

And "Eggplant Lamour":

This one is really gorgeous. The color is perfect for our wedding, and the finish is like a sort of semi-satin. It has a slight sheen, but it is not too shiny. I think that even with very simple centerpieces, tables with these linens would have a really amazing impact. I love it!

Both of these (and lots more) linens can be found at www.discountlinenrental.com for a lower rental fee. However, I am nervous about renting from them--why are they so cheap? Have they been used a million times and look like crap? It might be worth ordering a full-sized sample to check it out. Have you heard anything about this website?

  1. I think the "eggplant lamour" is beautiful, and perfect! The sheen is good, and the tone resembles the BM dresses - the purple class is very pretty, but more grape-y, as opposed to the eggplant lamour, which is more silvery-y or something.

You are so funny about the "cheap" linens. Cut costs where you can! More budget for star wars favors! ;)
